Vor Testbeginn sollten Sie 12 Stunden n\u00fcchtern sein, stilles Wasser darf bis 6 Stunden vor der Untersuchung getrunken werden. Zun\u00e4chst erfolgt eine Leermessung. Dazu atmen Sie nach Anweisung unserer Mitarbeiterinnen \u00fcber ein Einmalmundst\u00fcck in einen Testbeutel. Im Anschluss erhalten sie eine harmlose, geschmacksneutrale Testsubstanz, die Harnstoff enth\u00e4lt, der mit dem Kohlenstoffisotop 13C markiert ist. 15 Minuten sp\u00e4ter wird eine zweite Atemprobe genommen. Die Auswertung der Testbeutel erfolgt dann in einem Speziallabor und liegt uns einige Tage sp\u00e4ter vor.<\/p>\n<p>Das Prinzip dieses Atemtests beruht auf der Tatsache, das Helicobacter pylori das Enzym Urease bildet, welches den Harnstoff spaltet. Dabei entsteht Kohlenstoffdioxid (CO2), welches dann den markierten Kohlenstoff enth\u00e4lt und als 13CO2 abgeatmet wird.<\/p>\n<p>Die <strong>\u00dcberpr\u00fcfung des Eradikationserfolges<\/strong> ist fr\u00fchestens 4, besser 8-10 Wochen nach Ende der Antibiotikatherapie sinnvoll. 14 Tage vor dem Test m\u00fcssen Protonenpumpeninhibitoren, Medikamente zur Magens\u00e4ureblockade wie Pantoprazol, Omeprazol u. \u00e4., abgesetzt werden. Antibiotikagaben aus anderem Grund m\u00fcssen ebenso mindestens 4 Wochen zur\u00fcckliegen.
